The Ordinary and the Everyday

With the movement of thoughts and events

Separation increases and strenghens,
The frequency and continuity of movement
Solidifies our belief
of being in conflict with life,
And all this is taken for granted.



Then one day we look outside,
Open our eyes, look around
And for a moment we sense
The possible, the probable, the actual;
The petty trivial mind
With its preoccupations ond wants,
The "I" "me" and "mine" cease to function
Despite the madness, the confusion, the fear -
Another dimention briefly reveals itself.
In seeing - What utter joy !
The small mind becomes transparent, empty,
Without foundation.
Yet how easily we identify and label
Such an experience as " ultimate"
So this nondual freedom remains elusive
And we are left grasping after the ephemeral.



With no experience to hold onto,
There is no experience to lose,
Or pursue,
So why look beyond
The ordinary and the everyday?

z przemijaniem mysli i zdarzen
zwieksza sie separacja i umacnia,
rozdrobnienie i kontynuacja w ruchu
zastygaja nasze przekonania
staja w konflikcie z zyciem
staja sie pewnikiem.



Pewnego dnia patrzymy na zewnatrz,
Otwieramy oczy, rozgladamy sie dookola
I przez chwile czujemy ,
ze to jest mozliwe, wiarygodne, rzeczywiste
Maly trywialny umysl
ze swoim niepokojem i chceniem,
"Ja" , "mnie", "moje"
przestaje dzialac
Pomimo szalenstwa, zaplatania, strachu -
Inny wymiare na krotko ujawnia sie
Gdy widzi - wybucha radoscia!
Maly umysl staje sie przezroczysty, pusty,
Bezpodstawny.



Lecz jak latwo identyfikujemy i nakladamy etykiety
Takie doswiadczenie jako "ostateczne"
jednak ta niedwoista wolnosc zostaje nieuchwytna
A my pozostajemy by uchwycic ulotnosc.
Zadnego doswiadczenia nie mozna sie trzymac na stale
Nie ma doswiadczenia do stracenia czy wykonania
Dlaczego wiec patrzec
poza zwyklosc i codziennosc ?
